Winter Skin
Remember to care for your skin in the winter. Just because you are not outside every day, your skin is still impacted by UVA and UVB rays when you are out and about. The UVB rays that cause sunburn may be weaker but the ones that make our skin look old (UVA rays) are in full force. They can penetrate your office and car windows, hit you on your lunch break and affect your skin on cloudy days. These rays are powerful all year round.
So keep your sunscreen on year round. Many cosmetics contain sunscreen and can be combined with standard sunscreen products to protect your skin year round. Layering on moisturizer with sunscreen then SPF makeup provides added protection.
Sun gloves and sleeves protect your hands and arms while driving.
Sun protection clothing will offer you effortless protection and can be stylish too.
And don’t forget your sunglasses every day. Your children need sunglasses, too.
